Many people are getting ready to enjoy the best family vacation ever.  This means that they considering different family vacation spots, based on price, availability, and activity.  One of the best places these people could look at is Myrtle Beach .  Planning a family vacation in Myrtle Beach is a great idea, as there are luxury family vacation options and Myrtle Beach Condo availability that will ensure that you have a great time.  There are a few things to keep in mind before you embark. 

First of all, you should know that one of the best things about Myrtle Beach is the beaches.  The Grand Strand is the one huge beach that is in the area.

 Although the Grand Strand abounds with championship, full-size golf courses, it is almost as well known for the preponderance of miniature golf courses.  One favorite is the Dragon's Lair Fantasy Golf course at Broadway at the Beach, where a dragon rises from a castle tower and spews fire.

Myrtle Beach also has an abundance of outlet-style shopping complexes and superstores. You can have a late lunch or early dinner at Capt. Dave's Dockside, about 12 miles south of town at Murrells Inlet. It is worth the short drive.  

You might be surprised at how much less crowded it gets later in the day on Sundays, but especially as the sunsets. In summer, that happens later than any other season. Time just seems to go by faster when you are having fun.

Keep in mind that lodging can be cheaper if you are not surfside, but there is a lot to be said for being able to walk out of your room and onto the beach, especially on a traffic-snarled summer weekend.

The Grand Strand is a great way to enjoy a beautiful and fun vacation in Myrtle Beach. There are great restaurants, wonderful beach golf courses, and other beach activities everyone is sure to enjoy.

On Saturdays, most people take their claim early on the beach. Even if you venture off for a bit, you have reserved a spot you can come back to.  By afternoon, the beach can get a bit too hot for comfort.

There is also Ripley's Aquarium, located at Broadway at the Beach. Our favorite part is the long tunnel that runs through the big tank. In summer, children may want to check out the Marine Science Camps as well.  Everything is available to ensure that you enjoy the best family vacation.

Another dining option is to try one of Myrtle Beach's many dinner theaters. There are tons of things to do at Myrtle Beach that will be fun for you and your entire family!
