Myrtle Beach Weather
Myrtle Beach is great
for vacations year round. The area experiences warm summers and
mild winters. Its coastal location offers an extremely mellow climate
that can be enjoyed any time of year.
Spring in Myrtle Beach averages temperatures ranging from the high fifties to the high sixties
in March. April sees temperatures in the low sixties to mid seventies,
and May temperatures range from the high sixties to low eighties.
While the days are pretty warm, you'll probably want to bring a light
jacket or warm sweater for the cooler days and most evenings.
Summer in Myrtle Beach sees temperatures ranging from the low eighties
to the low nineties. While this may seem hot to some, ocean breezes
make the weather quite comfortable. Short sleeves and sunscreen will
help with the summertime sun, and of course bring a swimsuit to enjoy
Myrtle Beach’s famously beautiful beaches.
Fall in Myrtle
Beach sees September and October temperatures averaging in the
seventies and eighties, but come November temperatures usually drop
to the sixties. You may want to bring a light jacket or sweater depending
on when you are planning to visit.
Winter in Myrtle
Beach is generally mild with temperatures averaging in the fifties
and sixties. Bring clothes that can be worn in layers. This will help keep you comfortable regardless
of the weather.
